Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our Dubai headquarters. This role will provide comprehensive legal support across the full spectrum of our investment activities, from deal execution to fund structuring and regulatory compliance.
About the Role
Provide legal support for transactions, fund structuring, and regulatory compliance. Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements. You will work closely with the investment team and external counsel to ensure seamless execution of transactions while managing legal risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for M&A transactions, including due diligence and deal documentation
- Draft and negotiate investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts
- Advise on fund structuring and regulatory compliance matters
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions
- Support portfolio company legal matters and governance
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure firm-wide compliance
- Develop and maintain legal templates and best practices
Qualifications
- Law degree from a recognized institution; qualified to practice in UAE, UK, or US
- 7+ years of transactional experience, preferably with PE/VC funds or corporate M&A
- Experience with cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional matters
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent judgment and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
